From 1947 Sands & McDougall no longer listed residents at 44-46 Nimmo Street. Instead, residents were listed at 256 Richardson Street until 1957 when the building, which had been purchased by South Melbourne Council, opened as the Middle Park Community Centre with a new address of 254-256 Richardson Street.
